Seaworthy

April 2018: I have never seen a more perfect view of dunes spilling towards the ocean. The cottage was equipped with everything our family needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. But this beach house stands out because it feels like a beach home, with unique artwork and coastal decor that basks every room with love. We will return as often as we can and are very grateful to have found this tucked away gem.

What a perfect cottage!
This was a purchased auction week donated by the owners for a school benefit. What a perfect cottage - plenty of space, so many amenities provided, and the best part - it is right on the beach! It was a great bonding time for our two blended families! My husband's family spent 2 weeks at Topsail every summer and he has so many fond memories of coming with his grandparents. My husband and I also honeymooned here in 1975. Thank you for the beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and more fond memories!

April 2016: This home has never been a rental before, one of the "old girls" of the beach, built in 1954, recently renovated. Sweet spot to stay on quiet Topsail Beach- feels like you are back in the day, but with Wifi, cable, good beds and air conditioning!

4/11/18: This was something me & my family needed.....really needed... & to walk in to such a wonder beach home after seeing pix & seeing that it was better than the pix made it so much better. I want to book another week real soon ... I would’ve seen about staying a few more days if the kiddos didn’t have to be back to school... and the cool piece of art above the tv from Revelation Culture with the quote 1 Peter 4:8 “Love Each Other Deeply” was so humbly perfect for my family & I... thank you for providing a property we could actually unhook & vacay

September 2016: This is one of the nicest beach houses I've ever rented.  Everything is perfect!!  Especially love the wood floors, ceilings, trim.  The art is great too.  Very comfortable and home-like.  The gazebo is the icing on the cake.  I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.  I had not been to Topsail in many years and this was a wonderful week with old friends.  Thank you for providing us with such a cool place to hang out for the week!!

November 2017: Our family has been coming to Topsail for years and came for Thanksgiving. Seaworthy is an amazing house! The art is beautiful and we loved to go eat our breakfast on the porch in the mornings. Our family enjoyed this house very much. We might look into it for our summer trip this year too!

August 2016: Excellent experience from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. We felt so comfortable and right at home. Everything you could possibly want was provided in our rental (even the smallest items). Plus, the best, least crowded view of the ocean I have seen. A big bonus was how comfortable our dog felt immediately as well. It is nice to have an option to bring her all week. I will return and stay at Seaworthy for sure. Thank you!

June 2017: 

This was our first trip to Topsail Island.  We have always vacationed at the Outer Banks and were married there but we have found a new spot to call our "home away from home".  We enjoyed the small town feel and the beautiful natural beaches.  This home was the icing on the cake...it was just how I would make it if I could have :)

The views, outside shower, gazebo...it was perfect!!  Not to mention the downstairs was perfect for my teenage daughter and her friend to set up camp!

Took a 3 hour Tiki Tour of Lea Island, wonderful tour and sehlls!!  Nice way to get to the sites and history.  

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your home so landlocked beach lovers like us can have a taste of paradise!

Enjoyment!

October 2016: We rented Seaworthy to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday (it was a surprise) and the house is lovely!  The view is awesome and having our dog just made everything better!  Could not have been happier with this great house!!

Thanksgiving week 2016: Thanksgiving week!!!  We had an amazing week!  Seaworthy is one of the BEST beach houses we have stayed in.  All of the owner's hard work is evident.  Our children had a blast playing on the beach and swimming!  The parents were able to sit and relax on the deck and watch them.  Thank you!!!

Perfect beach spot!

I have been coming to Topsail since 1966 and have not tired of its peace and beauty. Our family has been coming almost yearly since 1983 and they love it now as much as when they were kids. Perfect temps in the 80s, not too much wind, and just enough waves.  Enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding all week. This house was the perfect little beach spot - the best of traditional beach house with the best of "upgrades" - comfortable and homey in the best possible way. Outdoor shower was a favorite - not even sure anyone used the inside showers! Shark teeth hunting too.  We all loved this house and our time here.  Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! We hope to be back!

Christmas Week 2016: We LOVED Seaworthy! We loved that it is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Even though it was December, we were able to enjoy the beach and ocean from the deck and when it was too cold and windy we could enjoy from inside with all the windows. The sweet cottage was well organized and decorated with beach style. It was very comfortable and we were able to share with my in-laws a few days and then our friends with their 3 small children. The house worked for both sets of guest.

Seaworthy is home away from home!

This was our first trip to Topsail Island.  We have always vacationed at the Outer Banks and were married there but we have found a new spot to call our "home away from home".  We enjoyed the small town feel and the beautiful natural beaches.  This home was the icing on the cake...it was just how I would make it if I could have :)

August 2016: Seaworthy is amazing!  We started the week as a girls trip and midway we were joined by the kids and husbands.  Everyone had an amazing time!  Even the baby!  We are already planning next year.  Can't wait!

Amazing!

First time at Seaworthy and it was amazing! All of us had a wonderful time! Saw a sea turtle as we swam in the early morning.  The ghost crabs were friendly this year. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place, it has been a beautful time and we had a blast. We found lots of sharks teeth!

June 2016: Stunning beach, this sweet home has been lovingly updated for a super comfortable beach get away. Dogs are welcome ! There are plenty of beds, great decks. We had a blast at this great house at the best beach in NC, the beach is never crowded.

Love this cottage

September 2016:  We spent a week at the end of September in this wonderful beach house. It was great to discover that "Seaworthy" was one of the originals from the early 50s and had been owned by the same family for decades. The new owners have kept that old charm while modernizing for a contemporary, yet comfortable living space. This house was so inviting and you immediately felt right at home as you stepped inside. The wood was the first thing you noticed - floors, ceilings, walls. It was stunning. Then you began to see all the little details - art, a stained glass sliding barn door to hide the pantry, beautiful decorative touches, all keeping to a very charming and laid-back atmosphere. The deck overlooking the ocean was our favorite late afternoon spot to relax with a beverage. A lovely, enclosed outdoor shower was adjacent and around the side of the wrap around deck was the whimsical and lovely gazebo, complete with overhead fan and party lights. This gazebo was used alot, during light rains or to escape the sun, and at night to sit under the lights and enjoy the roar of the ocean. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, as well. Plenty of space in this cottage to relax and not feel on top of one another. We had 6, but could have slept 10 easily!!! The kitchen was well stocked, with an open layout. We cooked many memorable meals here. I would absolutely recommend this house to all my friends and family and if possible, will be back here at "Seaworthy" for another idyllic vacation!!!!
