COVID-19 NOTICE & DISCLAIMER

On March 11, 2020 COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic. COVID-19 has changed a lot about the way we all go about our daily lives, as well as how we at Topsail Realty by Carolina Retreats conduct our business and the ways in which we interact with our guests and owners.

THERE IS ALWAYS A POSSIBLE RISK THAT YOU COULD CONTRACT COVID-19 WHILE TRAVELING

At Topsail Realty by Carolina Retreats, we have implemented various procedures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading. Naturally, like any other vacation rental manager or lodging provider, we cannot guarantee that you will not avoid contact or contract COVID-19 while traveling.

What we’re doing:

We have enhanced our cleaning procedures in all our homes, giving special attention to clean frequently touched surfaces such as tables, faucets, railings, light switches, and doorknobs on turnover days. Our inspectors perform routine quality assurance audits in our homes, as well as report back any items that need special attention.

For reservations that include linen and towel packages, and in an effort to limit our staff’s contact with bedding and bath towel items, we will not be making the beds for the 2020 season. Rather, we will be providing guests with these items shrink wrapped directly from our commercial grade laundry facility, and they will be placed in bedrooms to ensure maximum safeguards and limit outside contact.

We are limiting interactions between our guests, employees and vendors. Our employees are familiar with and will exercise social distancing best practices. Our employees and vendors will wear masks and disposable gloves while inside of our homes.

Where applicable you will be provided a keycode entry and we’ll provide instructions for contactless key pick up. Currently, we are restricting access to our offices. We ask that when entering our offices, you wear masks.

How you can help:

While inside our homes we are asking that you regularly clean and wipe down high-touch surfaces, including personal items such as phones and wallets. Please practice safe social responsibility while in our area. Remember to wash your hands using soap and water as frequently as possible and utilize hand sanitizer regularly.

If you feel sick, isolate yourself from others and seek medical attention immediately. Protect yourself and exercise social responsibility while enjoying our beautiful islands.

While a vacation to our islands will undoubtedly be different in or current world, our brand of southern hospitality will continue to be the same.
